SMSEM Prioritizes Educators' Well-being with Planned Action Plan

The General Secretary of the Sindicato de Maestros al Servicio del Estado de México (SMSEM), Jenaro Martínez, has outlined a comprehensive plan aimed at improving the working conditions and benefits for the organization's 105,000 members.

Advocating for Educators' Needs

At the core of SMSEM's agenda is the development of a comprehensive proposal that specifically addresses the needs of educators. The proposal, known as a pliego petitorio, will serve as a roadmap for negotiations with relevant authorities.

Ongoing Support for Educators

The SMSEM remains committed to supporting its members in various ways. The organization will continue to facilitate the regularization of teaching positions, particularly those not included in the professional teaching service catalog. Additionally, the construction of new facilities, including the union's central offices and the new Region 14 headquarters in Texcoco, is expected to be completed soon.

Unity and Collaboration

Jenaro Martínez emphasized the importance of maintaining unity among SMSEM members. He believes that collective effort and collaboration are essential for the organization's success in achieving its goals and advocating for the well-being of educators.

"Together, we will continue to strengthen our union. Our unity sets us apart and makes us a powerful force. It is through this unity that we will overcome any challenges we may face," said Martínez.

The SMSEM's commitment to improving the lives of educators is a testament to its dedication to the profession and the well-being of its members.
